Ok, well a friend madde this website layout for me.... *see attachment* and they are un-capible of coding it, and so am i.... so i was hoping that someone here could do it for me.. i am not looking for it jsut to be coded so i can put stuff on there, well obviously it is.... but i was wondering if someone here could make it to where the page will expand with the amount of content that is on the page... meaning instead of being the 700px it is, limiting me to that much content, that i can put unlimited content on it... for an example, see this website http://www.orderofhogwarts.be/test/ hopefully someone ould do this for me |

I have a few questions before I decide on doing this:
Any way, If you provide me with the code, i'll see what I can do. I use Dreamweaver MX 2004, so I'll give it a try? One other question, are you plainin on using PHP or XHTML? |

I'm also willing to have a go at this if you want. I know you didn't design this yourself, but do you have the separate slices of the design already cut, or is the original file (presumably a PSD?) available?

One other question, are you plainin on using PHP or XHTML? 1) yes 2) I dont, the example site was sliced and coded for me. 3) Yes, thats just the way it was given to me. 4) Basicly HTML, i will be using PHP Includes, as well as adding a poll to it. No i dont have it cut, and i dont have the PSD, and i dont think the friend who made it does..but maybe i could ask. This post has been edited by Albus Dumbledore: Jun 19 2006, 03:42 PM |

To tell you the truth, three slices are enough for this template. The rest is just applying CSS. And the coding is so easy for this.

You don't need any help, beleave me, it's too easy, and it only requires you a litle bit of time each day. Just download BlueVoda website builder (free and the best, http://bluevoda.com/) and import that template to a new project, and then, you just need to insert a navigation menu in left and right sides. At their website, you can also download templates (images) like that, and awesome templates for you to use with the program, and they have easy to understand flash tutorials for you to build websites in just a couple of hours. You don't need any help. |

wow, mich...that is like totaly freaking awsome! lol i dont know why but i am just overwhelmed with joy, i suppose its because i didn't expect it to be done this fast... lol i would hug you if we wern't so far apart.. (i know thats probably overly joyful) just one question, lol from the looks of it, you cut the fill.jpg a little to high, because i see some of the drop shadow of the extra in it.... maybe i can attempt to be somewhat normal and slice a 900px by 1 px fill.jpg >_< or maybe you could.. lol OMG i feel like i could riverdance, but i dont know how *note to self, learn how to riverdance for special occasions* yuppie! my noobish self was able to re-size the image to 900 px wide, and crop a 900x3 peice of it...it may be a little bigger, but i think it will still do the trick! thanks again mich! i really apreciate it This post has been edited by Albus Dumbledore: Jun 19 2006, 11:15 PM |

Oops, my eyesight is getting bad. I see double with my right eye. Here is a replacement. Fill Jpg Have fun getting it with your cursor. It is tricky, but you can save as on right click if your aim is good.
