Hey. I am a freelance web designer and i can sometimes find it hard to get clients. I was thinkin of setting up a forum for web designers to offer their services, portfolios etc. And also for people looking for web design and seeing what the best price is for them to get. Do people think this woud be a good idea and work or will it be a flop?

I don't know why a Web Design forum wouldn't work. Tho, I find that this graphics forum fits me comfortably. I do simple web designs for the beginner for free; so finding clients is not a concern for me. Good Luck! My animated sig is a link to my site.

yeh im a graphic designer.. hmm if u get a big forum going and advertise it i reckon ull pull in alot of clients

I'm not so sure. There's several places similar to that. http://www.getafreelancer.com is basically what you need, except people offer projects.
Just search freelance web designers in Google and there's plenty of them. |

you should really look into http://sitepoint.com its one of the best places to find work. as a freelance artist.

Yeah I think this is good idea you can set it up and start working although it might proove to be a lot of work to be done however you will soon make your site and certainly need scripts to run this all.
Good luck with your project I really think that is good idea. |
