I received a mail today stating that my Qupis account, http://muddle.qupis.com/ was deleted.
I was planning to run a technical blog that site. I didnt store any illegal content or content against hte conditions of Qupis hosting. My last login was ony 3 days before. Please explain. |

Happened to me, too, back when Qupis first started.
I was told that the free Qupis accounts were IP checked against the Trap membership IP's, and only one account would be allowed. Unless it has changed, I do believe that the same thing wold apply to you. Can't you use a sub-domain to blog from, maybe? |

had the same thing happen to me before too. i was using qupis as a testbed for scripts i'm working on before, and my account was deleted as well. i never opened it to the public, as it was meant to be private, but it seemed that site activity is factored in when they chose to close mine. another thing is, it is constantly scanned as i came to know, of the presence of large files in each account. as a testbed, i needed to make a zip backup of the latest working scripts i had on qupis, so i could have easily just unzipped them to their proper place, and get back them back to normal, after a major crash while modifying/testing these scripts. as i came to know later, such backups raised RED FLAGS which eventually resulted to my account getting deleted. too late, too bad... since once an account is deleted, no matter if it was made in earnest and honest mistake, it couldn't be retrieved any longer.

OpaQue responded that Qupis was deleting bunch of accounts and even demo.qupis.com was deleted in the process.
Send to support{at}qupis{dot}com and ask them to reinstate your account. Chances are files on the hosting will not be restored. Bringing this to Velma's attention. |

Hello,
Most of those accounts were deleted due to inactivity for more than 120 days. Maybe your site got deleted in that, I am sorry if you lose any data Please note that we have no back ups... Again I apologize if this caused you so much trouble. @Buffalo :- demo.qupis.com will be recreated soon. I will send you the details later |
