China launched a Web site, www.linese.com, on Saturday offering free Chinese lessons and materials to promote the study and use of the language abroad

Oh nice. I always wanted to learn chinese but the site I found never really have anything good to learn. I mean not even thing to learn, they just have the basic and sometimies they don't even have the Chinese characters of the words. Anyhow, I'll take a look at the site and see if I can learn something different from it.

Thanks again for the site.

Thats a good find, although at my age learning a new language especially something as complicated as chinese is going to take alot of effort and struggle. It makes me wish that my parents taught me a secondary language when i was a child because thats when its easiest to learn a new language. Although im going to give it a try in my free time and see what happens, it would be nice to know how to speak chinese. Maybe it will be some use to me someday, since China has a huge population that is increasing rapidly why not learn.

Thanks for sharing this website with us! I might attempt to learn Chinese in the future. blush.gif
My Old Grade School teaches Chinese now lol laugh.gif , so I think it would be cool to learn Chinese now, especially if its free, and like the previous Posters have said, "The Chinese Population is growing" along with alot of other reasons. Come to think of that, I should learn other languages too, since I already know English (Of Course), and a little French and a lot of Spanish. xd.gif

Ni hao

It is normal for china to dominate the market on production as, you should be able to see it's population and country size. The amount of space it is allowed to lease, is extremely large and wide. Could never imagine, if it was smaller, goods had be more expensive, giving us another 'poverty boom'. Well, learning chinese is extremely hard if you wish to learn how to write them. There are over fifty thousand characters. I can tell you that as a Chinese, myself.
