Well currently I have the working model edition for Visual Basic 6.0 which won't allow me to make .exe files. I was looking into buying the Learning Edition but I can't find it cheap or in stock anywhere. I want to try and find it for under $100 used or new. If anyone has it, and would like to make the .exe file for me if I send you the files that would be great, or if anyone could help me find it for cheap.

Search for any starting VB6 books that come with a version of VB6 on the accompaning book CD. I know of one, "Teach yourself VB6 in 24 hours". It has a CD with it with VB6 on it and code examples.

I have one of those books but it comes with working model edition in which you can't make execution files.

Turns out I was able to get a hold of a copy from a local high school. They let me have it because they didn't use it. So now I have a full working Professional Visual Basic 6 for free
 I ended up using it over the summer and what not. Thanks for the help though I appreciate it although I try to stay away from using illegal software.
