I have this game i want to put on the internet and it requires a board.

I want it to be able to move charectors pick up weapons and make it so it shows a new picture of the person holding the weapon. ANd all other stuff similar to this

How would i do this Would i use mouse over effect and clicking on certain parts of the image to move but how do i make it show it shows the person when i click on the part
