Hi guys... need a little help. One of my friends bought me cool phone as a present, but I don't know if i can use it. I'm a Cingular user, and the phone he bought me was Verizon. Is there any way I use this Verizon phone w/out switching wireless plans?
I have the enV by Verizon. please tell me what you know. -Just |

Verizon is CDMA and Cingular is GSM. The two networks and their respective phones are not compatible with each other. Sorry about that. Your Verizon phone will work on several networks, but at this time, Cingular, T-mobile, and AT&T are the only ones compatible on a fully GSM network.
