If you were to get hosted at trap17.NET and wanted to make a decision regarding the type of ads you would like to deliver on your site. What would you prefer?

Please give your honest opinions. Depending on the feedback, We will be changing the AD Delievery on Trap17.NET

I would prefer to have a 728x90 banner on top if I were to be hosted at trap17.net. It's the most out of the way, and it wouldn't disturb my visitors too much.

Could you make an option on trap17.net for the customer to choose what ad they want to be on their website?

pop ups= not good @_@ people are just going to click the "X" on it anyways...
banners...they don't really matter. as long as they don't take bup a lot of space, 728x90 isn't THAT big so it'd be ok =/

I think the 728x90 banner on the top is probably the best. I have seen a problem with this using frames where the banner appeared in every frame, that can be a problem. Popups are pretty much a waste of time for advertisng these days, they are very intusive and most people run software to block popups, or in the case of Firefox it's built in to the browser.

Definitely not popups! On most browsers, they will be blocked automatically...
My vote goes either for the 728x90 banner on top, or the fly-in box. But it would be better to let the users choose what's going to fit in nicely in their web page. Is there a way to let the user to make that decision from his/hers CPanel?

Dont think so, since cPanel is a commercial product those kinds of edits / addons arent allowed I guess...

My vote goes to the 728x90 banner, altho it will look pretty big on computers with smaller resolutions...

Trap17.net doesn't use CPanel wink.gif, it uses XPanel. I don't know if you can though though.. I guess we should wait for opaque to reply smile.gif

Fly in. I don't like banners, they break the flow and mood of your page. I don't like pop ups either, but I'd prefer pop-up over banner. At least you can close them. Thats why I chose Trap17, no ads of any kind.

Pop-In. I think they're nice, since they're not as intrusive as pop-ups, but aren'ts as big as Banners. And i hate banners, and are considering Pop-Ins for my website. But definently not Pop-Ups!
But Trap17.com's ad-lessness is awesome, and i think posting is worth it. Ads get in the way a lot, and how many people actually check out Pop-Ups! Everyone hates Pop-Ups, and tries to kill them.
