FINALLY!!! Something good from the Government in Canada... Effective Sept 30th, 2008, you will be able to place your phone number on a Block list for telemarketers. We've got one of those here in Australia. It doesn't stop the calls though. we still get telemarketers. I think the block list just takes you off of the free list that companies can buy. Not stops you from getting calls. Then again I don't think our government did the block list. That could be why.
