The real problem is not with people sticking to Internet Explorer! The problem is placed lower - in webmasters minds! The fact is that Firefox is more about the standards than IE. But most of webmasters test their sites on IE, and when they see it looks good on IE, they think it will look well on every browser, or even worse they don't care about other browsers!
In Poland (maybe you BoSZ heard about that - i belive you're from Poland) we had a thing going on, that a group of web specialists loving Firefox, due to upcomming (it was some time ago) of Firefox 1.0, they turned to webmasters of big web sites, with help how to make their web pages look good on every browser. And considering most users of this forum are webmasters, please keep these things in mind! |
