My site was recently suspended because my points went negative, but I don't want my site resumed, my points right now are positive. Since my hosting account is suspended, I won't be charged hosting credits daily anymore, right?

As before, when your weren't in suspension, you will be charged one credit a day until you reach -30 credits, at which time your account will be terminated and unrecoverable (unless you made back-ups on your HDD).

Like electriic ink said you will continue to lose credits until your account is terminated. What you could do is just back up everything including SQL files on your forums and then then terminate your hosting until you are ready to get your site going again. That way you don't lose credits and what not.
