http://spudguns.trap17.com

my friend made most of it. but i helped i gues..."design" it. anyways tell me what you think of it, tried to make it a simple design, which wasn't so easy in the coding part. but i guess tell me what you think of it, the site itself and content (which i have a lot more to add, but not with the current ammount of space)

Quite a basic design, but I think it works. You need to fix the box on the right where all the content appears, sometimes you get a horizontal scrollbar on it. Try changing the borders, margins and padding.

1 tip: Get rid of those hand drawn plans and make them on the computer. No one could deduce a single thing from those. I certainly wouldn't want to fire a gun built on those hard to read plans. If you don't want to make them on the computer, at least use a straightedge, rather than scribbling out those lines.

Pretty nice, I've always wanted to make a spudgun. Consider making the font and overall size a bit larger, otherwise it's pretty nice.

the navigation, external links and Stats boxes are stretching too much on the right.
the content is good, but creates a side scrollbar in some of the content pages, which isnt very nice in an i-frame.
The Graphics are allright. just a bit blury.

Thanks to Stephen for making the entire site in raw css and php with a text editor, designing a css management system for me to use, and using Lorem Ipsum to test the layout!

whats a css mangement system?
i think its funny that u included that he used Lorem Ipsum to test the prototype lol

nicework either way, keep at it.

yeah he wrote my site's default content in latin, heh. i think the links and stats boxes stretch into the content in IE. In firefox and the other browsers usually work. been trying to figure out why. He actually wrote that note to himself. I don't know what a css management system is actually. He put that there, heh. I just made the graphics and the organization. what is an "i-frame". The site doesn't use frames.

I actually like it. I usually prefer more complex sites, but simple designs sometimes also can be very amazing, such as this 1. The colours make it look simple, but very nice, a good combination between simplicity and design.

My only suggestion here would be adding some perspective to your website and add 1 or 2 colours to colour it a bit. Though it looks clean now, another color to vary would amaze you tremendously i think wink.gif
