I think starting a new software company would be almost impossible, if you or the people you are working with doesn't have the skills or commitment to do so.
There are many types of softwares, my suggestion is, if you want to start a software business, start with a new idea. This post has been edited by craz: Dec 23 2007, 11:42 PM |

I think the software industry is so cramped as it is, you would have to revolutionize something to get your name out there, otherwise you would need a great franchise otherwise you won't have customers coming back. What I plan to do is just make software as a hobby and make small money off of that, I think it'd be too hard for me to start up a company, but if you're planning on it, I wish you the best of luck.
Oh. and watch out for Microsoft. |
