Hi Guys,

I have recently signed up with qupis for a free hosting account to test out my site. It's based on the US Major League Soccer leagues, and is a prediction game. (I know it's a couple of weeks late, but i couldn't get it done in time unfortunately).

If some of you could drop by, and cast your eye(s) over it, and post any feedback here, i would be most grateful. I don't mind whether it's good or bad, it will all help me try to improve the site in one way or another. If you can think of any features that would be useful or beneficial, please post them as well.

Also, if you enjoy soccer, you more than welcome to give it a go as well rolleyes.gif

My site can be found at MLS Prediction League

Thanks in advance

I like your site, it's clean and professional looking. My first suggestion is to center the main table, it doesn't look right off the the left like that. Also the right side bar on your site isn't needed, for a site like this a shoutbox seems useless. IMO ditch it - if not you can put it in the left sidebar under the Menu. Also you might want to link the prediction table on the top menu as well, took me a while to find it and since it's the main focus of your site you should make it easier to find. And try to experiment with ways of making the main content stick out a little more, it seems to blend in too much with the rest of the page.

Thanks Smack. Some very helpful comments there.

Can i ask what browser you viewed the site with? I have only viewed it and optimized it for IE7 presently, so there may be some formatting issues with FF and the like.

Many thanks

Sure. I viewed your site with Firefox, on an iBook G4.

By the way, removing the right sidebar really did a good job in making it look better. smile.gif And the prediction table link is perfect. Good job. Though in my browser its still left-aligned.

Thanks Smack. I think you are right about the right side bar, I also think it looks better.

I have added some firefox formatting to the css, so hopefully it should align centrally now.

I'm viewing in IE7 and center table looks fine, probably just a FF thing. I like the layout of the site though, looks clean. I like your header, how you have all the logos and such, very professional looking. I'm not so sure about your page background though. The colors just don't sit well with me. You have green background, then blue text, and some red banner ads. Seems like kind of a random color scheme. If you like it then stick with it, but try to establish some type of color theme for the page. Hope I could help...

Thanks PlugComputers, again, some very helpful comments in there. I have amended the background image, as you were quite correct about it 'clashing'.

Yup, not a problem. It looks alot better now, seems like you established somewhat of a constant color scheme. Keep up the good work and good luck to you.

I like it, its very unique!

Maybe add more information about the league, latest news, tables etc...

Or even add the English Premier League.
