Hey all, this is my newest piece i just wrote after a loooooong time of not writing. Its about two of my dreams in life, finding someone who loves me and traveling to one of the poles and taking in the breathtaking scenery there

Icy white feathers
Adorn the evening sky
No-one is here
Just you and I

The snow underfoot
Crunches as we walk
Hand in hand
We make small talk

Our breath turns to smoke
In the cold of the night
An iceberg floats by
Midnight blue in fading light

Icy waters
Navy skies
Last of the light
Reflected in your eyes

White mountains all around
Ice floats on the sea
An evening show booked
Just for you and me

Green shines from above
And dances in the sky
In ribbons of magic
Silent lights up high

Stars shine behind
the lights still dance
This is where I belong,
Snowy romance

I do like it, although it doesn't ring true at this moment in time, a dream is simply that, a dream. Though looking back over my own work i must say i do like the contrast between the coldness of the environment and the warmth of the love. Didnt even notice that until now! But then im bound to say i like it for i wrote it!
