a small Star in Adobe photoshop
1- Create a new image with black background color (#000000). Note: dimension is not important. 2- Specify foreground color to white color(#ffffff) Click on the Custom Shape Tool or press U to open the Custom Shape Tool toolbar. In shape dropdown menu select Star. 3- In the image, draw a star like below ![]() 4- Go to Filter > Blur > Radial Blur (here photoshop may displays a warning massage; click ok). In the Radial Blur dialog box specify following settings : (amount=50, blur method=zoom, quality=best) and then click ok. 5- Go to Filter > Sketch > Chrome and specify following settings: detail=10, smoothness=10 and click ok. 6- Hold down Ctrl and press J (Ctrl+J) to duplicate the layer. And then in the layers palette , change blending mode to Multilayer . 7- In upper layer hold down Ctrl and press U (Ctrl+U) to open Hue/Saturation dialog box. And specify following settings: check colorize radio, Hue:100, Saturation: 100, Lightness:0. Then press Ctrl+E to merge layers and then press Ctrl+J and change blending mode to Screen. ![]() 8- Rotate upper layer to appears like below. ![]() Of Course this image is a simple image, you may use this star with combination of other images. |
