I got a reply from Xisto today that my site was up and running again.
Yet, when I surf to it, it will not load, also, my email client keeps telling me the POP3 server (the one related to my domain) timed out.
My Cpanel will not open neither.

On my son's laptop (on the same network, hence same IP address) the site loads immediately.
Has anyone got any idea what the problem my end could be?

Thanks.

Clear your cache.

That's the first thing I did.
No luck.
After rebooting the machine, my site now loads, my email server responds, although loads of mails must be missing, but I still cannot get into my Cpanel.

A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

You should have received an email, contents as follows:

QUOTE
We are pleased to announce that the migration for the servers is complete. The IPs have been modified in the respective servers. Gamma server is also up.

Possible Issues by Customers:-

1. Domain Not Showing Up. - DNS Sync Issue.

Solution: Send Ticket to Support with your Domain Name, Server (it was hosted on). We will fix it and revert back asap.

Although since the laptop is receiving the page in question, I am stumped by what might be causing this issue. Perhaps the page is cached at your ISP? But I am not aware of why the Laptop gets through and you do not. Might be a firewall issue? Try dropping your firewall to see if it works. Only thing I can imagine.

You are luckier than me, I can't get Cpanel or my site at all.

Its a DNS issue. The Domain names are still being resolved to the old Gamma server IP address 64.69.46.210. Try PINGing your site. I did some reverse DNS lookups and found out that the new IP address is 208.87.243.146. You can access your site as http://208.87.243.146/~<YourCPanelUserName>. I think the DNS registry at our ISPs needs some time to be updated.

Thanks for the input, everyone.
However, Jim, it is not all moonlight and roses yet my end, although my site loads now I still cannot get into my Cpanel, turbopowerdmaxsteel, the method you posted does not work for me, furthermore, I still have some problems with receiving email. Sending seems to be OK.

Supposing your CPanel username is ntek then your site can be accessed as http://208.87.243.146/~ntek. This will work as long as you are hosted on the Gamma server (either on Trap17 or Astahost). You however, don't need to do this because your Domain is being resolved to the correct IP address.

Don't use the CPanel address listed on the forum. It still points to the old address. To access your CPanel use etiher http://www.vlaanderen-flanders.org.uk/cpanel or http://208.87.243.146:2082/

That method works for opening my site.
It is my Cpanel I am trying to get into, though.

HA! HA!

Mine is the other way around. I can access Cpanel using the numeric IP, but even from inside the Cpanel, I can't view pages from the site...

Confusing, isn't it?
