http://shakespearelang.sourceforge.net/report/shakespeare/
This is a weird language whose syntax is kind of like a play. It may not seem like it can do anything, but it's actually more powerful that it looks. The programs are much longer than those in any other language, but SPL is more fun. Unfortunately, there's no compiler-it has to be translated to C, then compiled from there. There are some example programs at the bottom. |

the amount of code is huge! check the famous "hello world" program: shakespearelang.sourceforge.net/report/shakespeare/shakespeare.html#sec:hello
seems a bit excessive, hey! good for a laugh though. I love the super-overuse of adjectives in all honesty, though, i can't understand why you would want to program in it when ultimately you could just do the same thing in C++ with about a tenth of the code heaps funny though. congratulations for finding it! cheers. |

That code is rediculous. Someone must have just wanted to have some fun making that. I like the adjectives...and I must admit that it is highly creative!
Congrats for finding it!! Thanks!! |
