I am using avast antivirus home edition and just windows firewall. My router has a very good firewall built in and avast is free and has yet to fail me nor anyone at work and i work in IT and it is what we recommend. It take very few resources and does a wonderful job.

I have using many anti virus softwares.First I was using Norton Antivirus, but it was running so slow .So I decided to change to another one. Then i search over internet and I found pc-cillin.this antisoftware is better then Norton Antivirus because it run faster than Norton Antivirus and it has more option than Norton Antivirus. So I think this is the best anti virus software on the net you can use .

Good luck.

Agreed I used it ages ago and gave my computer grief, so I tried loads of others. Although I have always found that after some tweaking Norton is best suited for me.

I use NOD32 + AdwareSE + Spyware Blaster + Spybot S&D + Outpost firewall + HijackThis, and also sometimes the free Ewido scans.

Seems to me the best so far. Hasn't mixed a single thing for the past 15 months.

I personally use Kaspersky 6.0, Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware SE, a hardware firewall (built into my router) and PeerGuardian 2.
