Hi guys, anyone can tell me the diference in performance between a SATA and ATA drive? i mean with the a same system configuration cause im for update my pc and maybe i can replace one of my HD i can get 10% more of speed? more?

hi there!
there want be any reconiceable faster or slower disk. i'll say that u use a 10.000rpm - hdd. if u use a 5.400 rpm u'll see the better performance. sata is bout 1%faster than ata |

Well now i have 2 HD of 7200rpm (40gb and 120GB), i ask this cause i will update my pc soon and maybe i can update the 40gb hd for a SATA but if i only get 1% It is not worth the cost
