Hey all, I'm having some trouble here and I need some help. Well I use Linux, distro Ubuntu 6.06. And I also use Kaffeine player for playing vids and stuff. But I'm having trouble to play .rmvb files (I guess this is the extension for Real Media Player, isn't it?). Does anyone here know how to play files in this extension? Any help would be apreciated!

I think you need Realplayer or some sort of alternative. If you search Real's site really well, you should be able to find a version for Linux. I don't know of any alternatives for Realplayer on Linux, only on Windows.

You just need w32codecs.

sudo apt-get install win32codecs

if that doesn't work then, you'll have to manually download and extract the archive to /usr/lib/win32
