hey. I have been seeing Ruby and Ruby on rails alot lately and I really have no clue what these languages do. What is it that they do? Similar to php, or is it not web based at all? Fill me in on all of it please- I am the clueless wonderer.

I was wondering this to. Trap17 added Ruby on rails recently. Read the Announcement topic, and the second post has some tutorials on it. Read those and you might get a clue.
