I’m looking into RFID for some stuff. Is anyone here familiar with it? It would be nice if there is some kind of package for it.

Let’s say that you have a bunch of tags; when you have a new customer or new item, you create new id for him/her or the item, and you create the tag that contains that id. You give it to the customer or put it on the item. Next time you just scan it and you can retrieve the id.

There is something like this for barcode. It has a set of hardware and also it has source code and/or API for this.

Is there some package for RFID for this? I’d appreciate any help on this.
