Ok, well... again... I would like to request a review from you guys...
http://2kart.trap17.com Last time I posted a review, you helped me to fix all the bugs... but I don't think that the design in general was reall helped out too much. So this time, could you please post your suggestions on the design... I don't plan on completely re-doing the design or the color scheme. However, if you think that I should style headings differently etc. please feel free to share... I am happy with the general design, but I need to fine tune it... so your input would be greatly appreciated. |

Funny how I didn't notice this before but the horizontal scrolling text is very bad for users to track IMO. I have trouble following it and reading it at the same time. I think if you are going to have any scrolling text a vertical scrolling from bottom to top would work better and have it scroll slowly as well.
You content area I think its a bit confusing because each section of content kinda blends in with the other. Your fonts are all the same for the most part, maybe style the text outside the legend area differently from the outside. I think a faint horizontal rule between each section might work. Your navigation may look better with some kind of block border around it or maybe even a different background color or border line running down the right column may look ok. |

I start with the validation, your CSS is clean which is always good, as for your html you got small errors that easily fixable. As for the website's look I think you need to design a whole new banner because it doesn't fit the grunge look with the rest of the site. I am with sonesay that the look of your content needs a new look, like using underlines in your titles and maybe use two different alternating colors in your content to set up a little separate for all your new content. Almost like the the colors on the posts are alternating here in the topics on this forum, and try to set up some 1px size borders to help with more of that separation as well.

Thank you both very much for your input. I worked on the suggestions that you offered. 1. I seperated my content with <hr> tags, and a border that fits between the content and navigation areas. I think that it worked. (Note: check out the Home, and Portfolio page. This is where the <hr> tags have been inserted. It definately helps to seperate the content areas.) 2. I edited my legends. They font is a lighter color (still readable), and the design of the legends themselves have been edited. 3. Saint_Michael: As far as my banner, are you saying the banner doesn't fit the site, or the site doesn't fit the banner? |

You got a nice design. I'm a beginner in the web designing stuff. So, I can't comment much as u seem to have more experience.
I really didn't looked for a links above the kansurke text. Make the "click one" more easier to users get attracted. As we see the site upside down to review we may see all the things in the site. But, users are not bothered to run the mouse all over. So, make it little more easier for them. Also, the spaces in header won't help much for search engine to crawl your pages (But, I guess u did it on purpose). |
