I imagine opening up photo editing software could become cumbersome, especially when you are waiting for a large software, i.e. Adobe CS, to load just to resize your image.

And it's hard to find a simple resizing image software, and I no longer trust "free software" anymore due to potential spyware inclusion.

Well, you no longer need to worry. I accidently found a website called http://www.resizepic.com where you can upload any image from your hard drive and resize to any dimention to your choosing. There is no instruction to the website but it is very intuitive. And once you submit for a size decrease/increase and you do not like it, it will let you choose another size without uploading again.

So if there is any member who doesn't want to be bother with a simple coversion with huge graphics program--like me--try this site. Probably you'll no longer get a Pm from me asking "please reduce the width of your graphic" tongue.gif

interesting, BH! smile.gif mentally bookmarked for online purposes in case i may need it when a suitable image editor is not available within reach (like when i'm away from my OWN pc or when i need to suggest it to a friend needing it). biggrin.gif

(although for this forum's purposes, this may not be needed any more in the future once the new BBCODE under development for image resizing is in place. right BH? biggrin.gif)

This is especially geared towards to those members who have said that they did not know how to resize large image for their signatures.

Instead of using the IMGFIX, they can use this quick service to resize to an arbitrary size.

I know that some sites that resize pictures for you sometimes mess up the image and it becomes pixilated. Does this site do that? If it doesn't I could really use it!
