Recently, I've been having problems staying logged in on certain forums. when i fill up my username and password, the page reloads and goes to the member page, but when i try to click something only applicable to members, it brings me to the guest pages and asks me to log in again. This has happened to me on the Credit system on Trap17 and a couple of other forums as well. I've cleared the cookies, reloaded the pages and stuff but to no avail. Any ideas?

I'm not sure if it's your credit system or just need to re-establish your addon/park domain again.
This problem started since the restoring of hosting accounts in Trap17. Refer to http://www.trap17.com/forums/index.php?s=&...st&p=396776 and see if my suggestions help. |

I'm having the same issue with other forums that aren't a part of Trap17 too. |

I would recommend that you delete your browser cache, cookies and then do a DNS Flush through the command prompt by typing in ipconfig /flushdns then wait a few hours for your DNS to be cleared and restarted and then try logging in again.

Are you running a firewall?
or a real time antivirus/antispyware? If so, they could be rejecting the cookies, check your settings. And if you can, check any security logs, to see if there is a log of any cookies being blocked. This is completely possible, as cookies, and temporary internet files, are renound for carrying viruses, so are often blocked. Check you help guide for information on how to change the settings. |
