Hi guys,
It's me again  . This is a job I expect an admin would have done anyway if I hadn't beaten them to it.Trap17.net has been up for a month now, and knowing the way hosting providers go I doubt it's been underused. So I have started this (currently unofficial) Poll for Trap17 so that the People of Trap17 can find out just how good the Trap17.net system is. You can vote in the poll I created above, or, failing that, you can make a post here telling us what you think. Try to make your posts constructive - if there's something you don't like, tell us. If there's a way it can be improved, give us your idea! Even rate the service if you want, just try to keep in the rules of Trap17. Your views help towards the entire community of Trap17, by allowing us to find out how successful our Ad-Supported .net service is, and seeing if there is any room for improvement. Your votes and views matter, so don't waste them! P.S: Don't request for the Ads to be removed - Trap17.net is AD-SUPPORTED, if you don't want them go to Trap17.com .

I really haven't tried it yet but the specs seem to be good enough. I couldn't get to see a demo banner. Could any of you guys maybe show me one of ur sites hosted on trap17.net or atleast take a screenshot and paste it here. It'll be appreciated.

A very nice topic to start!
I gave it 9/10. There are couple of reasons for that : 1. It only offers Sub-domain hosting (although it says on the website that there is a domain hosting available, but nowhere in sign up process. Have sent a PM to OpaQue) 2. There is no email service. Now there will be a big section of people who will be looking for domain hosting and will be happy to have ADS on there website and it will be good to have email service as well..which will attract lot of people. I understand that not having the email service is already explained by OpaQue but then again..if a person gets domain hosting then he will like to have email which ends with his domain name. |

Well I would like it very much if it would have the same offers as trap17.com but only with adds. And one thing too that I dont like is that it have 500kb Upload maxsize. And thats realy bad... But anyway hope it will be better under some time.

I guess Trap17.net is ok if you want to quickly create a site, but trap17.com is superior. I think Trap17.net is not much new compared to other webhosts which allow instant activation of accounts as well.
Also, I think the control panel Trap17.Net has is CRAP... (Don't take this offensive tho...) |

I gave it a nine out of ten. It has a good amount of space. It also has a good amount of bandwidth. It is not really feature rich but for being free ad supported webhosting it is the best I have seen. The text link at the bottom is the main downfall. An ad and a text link is a bit excessive. If the text link were removed and maby a few more databases added then it would be perfect.

Very good for free web hosting.. I gave to it 6/10 because I havn't used it and reading replys it have some bad things...

I didn't like it that much because it only allowed english websites. I have to use trap17 since I have the site in my native language(Thai). But I think that's because the ads are in english and they're useless if the people can't read english
