I have a website in the first place at google and other search engines, and the adress is:

http://www.free-flash-clocks.trap17.com

i created another one to substitute this one, and the adress is:

http://www.freeflashclocks.com

What i want from you is a good and perhaps professional review of the new website, what can i do to optimize it to the maximum, so please do not be afraid to say what you really think of the new website, i am open to your comments, as long as they are creative.

Perhaps you could to tell a word or two about the google adsense ads structure, maybe you can also tell me if they are well placed, and if not just say so, i apreciate any reviews of anything on the new website.

Thank you in advance.

At my professional opinion your interface needs more work, the nav menu text is too small and cut off at the end, the IFrame is unnecessary and ruins your SEO just a bit, need a few more images and color to help it out as well. It loads fast which is a good thing. Have some validation errors, no DOC TYPE, a bit to much in the meta tags (thats just me though). I would try to break out of using frames for your site as ajax or php can do the same kind of set up and be SEO friendly.

It needs work, and I think showing the clocks on the page instead of going through all these links to get there would be better, and you need to tone down the adsense ad's as well because it was somewhat difficult to find the content between all those ads.

Hi! Your website is so cute and plain to look at. Very tidy in it entirety. However, I agree of what a reviewer had said that your text is too small. You really have to display the clocks (or icons) on your page to attract your visitors. Otherwise, as for me, I wouldn't care of the links at all just to view the clocks you are presenting. It's time consuming. My interest to the clocks would be suppressed by hate caused by wasted time. Is your site intended to be just a jump-off page for the linked sites?

Just an honest review from my humble side... biggrin.gif

I assume you want a review of this site? If so...

There are too many adverts. End of story. If I encountered a website with that many adverts I would immediately leave. I know it sounds a bit harsh, but I'm trying to give you an honest opinion wink.gif The Google ads blend in too much with the text, so it is not instantly clear which parts are adverts and which are content. This leads to confusion among your visitors. Separate the ads from the main text and make them appear slightly different. Yes, it is nice to have the ads match your site, but here they match too well, and it looks like you are trying to trick users into clicking them. Whether this was your intention or not, it's the wrong thing to do.

The second thing I noticed was the mouseover effect on links. There appears to be a small bug with it. When I mouse over a link, the entire text of the page jumps down a few pixels, and some whitespace is added to the bottom of the page. I don't see a reason for using that script rather than the default mouseover provided by the browser. Unless you can fix the bug, I'd remove the script.

When I click the Free Flash Clocks link at the top of the page, I expected to see a page filled with clocks, but instead I am presented with a page of text, and have to click another link to see one clock at a time. I would make that item on the navigation bring up a page containing 5-10 clocks, and let me go through pages of them. When I find one I like I should then be able to get the code needed.

On the Newsletter page, I see no reason for the form to be a Flash applet. It was initially blocked by Firefox, and there appears to be a bug with the drop-down menu (see attached image). The same goes for the Contact form. There is no need for Flash, and it just slows down page loading.

When I click the Advertise link in the navigation, it does nothing apart from make the Navigation disappear. I then have to refresh the entire site to get the navigation back. Again, possibly a bug you need to look into.

Like Saint_Michael said, your site fails validation. That means it won't look the same in all browsers, and will not be understood correctly by scripts such as search engines. Fix the errors listed there.

Thanks for all those comments, suggestion and more, i apreciate it all.

The contact form in flash works perfectly in all browsers, updated at least, i tested with firefox, maxthon, opera, internet explorer and it worked like it is supposed to, but i will check it out again.

The google adsense ads are supposed to blend with the website design/color/structure, and they are related at a certain point, but yes, i will give more space between the ds and the actual content, thanks for that.

I will too provide direct links to the free flash clocks, the rest is all direct links, but you are right, i have to change thta, thanks again.

I will, perhaps, insert 2or 3 flash clocks per page, maybe i will create a page with the hostest flah clocks, with direct links to it, or just insert the most cool ones instead of 240 flash clocks to see.

well in my opinion the site looks realy nice the interface is ok but i think the eye on top is pretty random a clock could be a lot better it would go more with the site's theme. another thing is that it's realy just a bunch of words especialy with small texted words i think the words should a bit bigger and a bit less. the ads themselves are about the same size of text and not very distict the cause of that is that i get the text mixed up with the adds while reading. but with out a dout i love the clocks they all have realy good desighns i think if the site stuctured was a little bit stuctured around the clock like a different clock in evry page i'd like that. but beside those little issues i think it's pretty good.

no offense intendede but it looks like it all over the place,
gaps and links hang of the top right of the page.
I think the scrollbar looks naff to and you should think about using something different or scrolling txt.
Are you just using a basic editor?
maybe try a page turn design like a book which stays in a fixed template and you peel the page over or back like a catalog.
just some ideas for you.
good luck with it. wink.gif
