i read somwhere today that there is some fast spreading worm attacking phpBB forums.
like that he erazes all data and change start page to somethng like... this page is infected with a worm... :roll: it spreads by using the google.. dunno what that meens.. i just had some small info in some news on site in croatian language so i doubt like to it will help u any1 know something more??? |

I'd some problems with an PHP-Nuke website that was attacked by an hacker that introduced himself in the database as the super administrator. I couldn.t delete him...

Well, updating to phpBB 2.0.11 is the best answer! Also, people shpuld update their php tio at least 4.3.10 .............

My friend's site's PHP-BB forum went down and wouldn't come back up until he reinstalled it, I don't know what that was all about but it pissed him off.

Phpbb seems to have a lot of flaws it seems. But upgrading is prolly the best as abcde said.

Well, the newest version of that virus attacks EVERY page with php.
