Hey all,
I'm new to the trap and these boards. I figured I would see what all I'm able to do here. There is one thing yall can help me with... Could you link me to a site that has excellent tutorials on learning to use PHP.

I'm an experiance designer in HTML & CSS, but PHP is still quite new to me, so I would like to read up on it a bit before I attempt using it to construct a website. All referance and tutorial site links are welcome. I like having many options at hand. So, whatever you can provide will be great.

Thanks in advance,
J. (TS)

I learned directly from the PHP offical site. Go there and visit the introductory tutorial. When you learn a bit you will be able to find the function you need right there using the search engine.

Alright. Thanks for the information, I've been trying to teach myself PHP with some other tutorials. All they manage to do is confuse me to death...lol. I never thought of going to the PHP main site and seeing if they offer tuts on PHP.

Thanks again,
J. (TS)

http://www.phpfreaks.com/tutorials.php

It's a pretty good site and shouldn't be too confusing as most of the tutorials are well written. And remember, google is your friend biggrin.gif

Thanks for the info. I already knew of w3schools.com. I use that site quite often for referencing. I did try to search at the time I posted this thread, but the search wasn't working at that time. I figured they were doing maintenance or my browser was just being goofy. Otherwise I'm sure I would have found sites through the search...

Thanks again,
J. (TS)
