Hi!

I think most of you know the free software Eclipse for developing especially java programs. Now I found a plugin, with which you can also develop php-scripts. It works very well, you get a good syntax highlighting and there is also the possibility to set up a preview window in which you can view the result of your code. The plugin doesn't has any problems with mixed code, say php and html mixed together, so I think the developers have really done a good job!
Till now, I used Weaverslave, but I think I'll change to PHPeclipse now. smile.gif

You can download it at: PHPeclipse

What do you think about this plugin?

Greets,
Chris

I used to use Eclipse a lot, especially when I was trying to learn java and was using it whilst going through the online java tutorial websites. I haven't been learning java recently, so haven't had the need to use Eclipse, however, I may go back to learning Java as I really fancy having another go.

If/When I go back to Eclipse, I will almost certainly install this PHP plugin as it's always nice to have a program you can do all your programming/website work on.

I knew there was an Eclipse plugin for being able to code in c++ but honestly didn't know there was one for PHP, thanks for telling us about it smile.gif
