My first creation is clearly a woman. It's easy enough to tell. I've posted this one before, but not in the Photoshop forum so you guys can look over it. A bit of an error on my part - it's actually fully made in Fireworks, which doesn't have as many brushes available to it.



Now, this next one I made just today. It was supposed to be a character from my novel-in-progress. I didn't mean to make a human face, nor did I mean to make anything remotely facelike. It started out as a woman but became a man - you can probably tell that I can't draw men and I think I actually ruined it by reverting from the original one I made:

to this one:

I absolutely stink at drawing male faces, and in an attempt to make a face more masculine and less "vhat...?", I think I screwed it up by making him look so dorky in the second one. Also, I was experimenting and using one brush with a variety of blurs and opacity changes so that might clarify the style. It looked pretty good when I started out :/
