The other thread seems to be more for free hosts. So what about paid hosts? Trap17 is adequate for me for now, but I just want to what's out there. When I was reading the reviews on free-webhosts, someone mentioned that frandt.com hosted their paid & free servers on one server so that even those who paid got screwed when they go down (which is a lot from my experience). I sure don't want to end up paying for service like that...

I use thrillhost/midphase they were good until I needed more bandwidth and they never got back to me on the issue or at least it has been 4 days.

Try out Computing Host ( Computing-web-hosting.com )...

Even though this company belongs to me, I have placed it on seperate server.. You might observe that when trap17 accounts go down, this one still stays up.. :-)

Sorry, But I have to give more preference to my Paid hosting clients. :-)

Right now, I have a site hosted on lunarpages.com. I haven't had any problems with it and I've heard only good things about it, but it doesn't offer much by the way of FTP accounts and MySQL databases and you can't use ASP or JSP unless you pay an extra dollar or two. Before that, I was on aplus.net, which was okay (it doesn't offer much either by the way of MySQL and a few other things), but gets a lot of bad reviews. I didn't have any problems with them either, but I do not recommend using their file editors. (They turn multiple spaces into Ās, even if you use ASCII.) A few other paid hosts I've looked at are e-starr.com, hasweb.com, and netrillium.com. I just looked at the sites again and Netrillium has some very good promos going on right now. I heard about those three through recommendations, but I haven't researched them much further than that.

I have tried to buy planB with my friend's help.
But it seems in trouble these days.
And I have a little worried about how long will the service survive.
I have buyed from other isp before, but that company closed in tow months.

Surpass hosting has some pretty good plans and they do have Cpanel. E-mail accounts, mySQL databases, and the like are all unlimited. Only the number of add-on domains, space, and bandwidth isn't tongue.gif

Exactly smile.gif

I think that you shouldn't be looking for what price you want, rather, what other features that you want... I mean, hosts that offer 40gb of bandwith for $4 is really cheap...They are probably overselling, or, trying to kill the competition. But, if you want good hosting, with support and good uptime for the site itself and the services that it has...Spend wink.gif
