I use Firefox for most browsing. I have IE7 to test my web sites to be sure of compatibility since most peeps use IE.

On my testing server (virtual machine on this pc) I have the latest Safari (Windows), Opera, Firefox 3, IE 7, and stand-alone IE6 and IE 5.5. I know no one really uses IE 5.5, but it's more there for fun tongue.gif

Instead of avant browser, I now use sea monkey, which is based off of netscape
I find that it runs faster, and as a plus, it in a integrated internet application suite, meaning, it has IRC, a mail client, newgroups, HTML editor, etc

Firefox... of course. I'm running a dual boot WindowsXP running SP2 and Fedora Core 5 Linux (considering switching to Ubuntu 8). i use firefox all the time, both in Windows and Linux. I only use Internet Explorer to install windows updates, and only because there is no other way.

All the browsers have the same speed, but Internet Explorer does not render the <table> tags until it finds the </table> tag. And it is not showing you the table contents until the tag download finishes. But in Firefox and Opera all the downloaded tags are displayed even the end tags are not download.

For example, enter a site with full of tables. It will take more time to show the table contents for Internet Explorer. But Firefox and Opera will show you while loading the page.

So I am using Firefox 2 because you can install lots of plugins on it. For example: The addons/plugins I am using in Firefox are YSlow, YExplore, WebDeveloper, TimeStampConverter, SaveComplete, No-referrer, Modif Headers, LeechBlock, JSView, IE View, Google Web Accelerator, Gmail Space, FlashGot, Flashblock, Download Status Bar, AdBlock Plus. You can see what can these do in firefox site.
And also I am using Opera 9 because it has a good option that you can disable all images by only one click and Opera can read RSS feeds.
A few site says that use Internet Explorer, so I am using Internet Explorer 6 for only a few websites.

I use Internet Explorer 7, and I love it. It's a much needed improvement over Internet Explorer 6, user interface wise anyhow. I've heard people complain a lot about it, saying a lot of websites are not viewed correctly when using Internet Explorer 7. I've never had the problem and really don't understand how this issue could occur. Can anyone explain more about this and how each web browser displays website pages differently?

hey guys,
u forgot that Mozilla Firefox is the second most used browser after IE. The speed is comparable with Opera and the great advantage is the coders community creating countless amount of the add-ons for everything it comes to your mind. I don't argue that Firefox is better than Opera, but it has more fans

I'm not gonna talk about the pros of IE, cause u can't compare this one with the 2 others. This one is just for the users, they are happy, when they manage to turn their pc on

I use Firefox for default web browsing and opera for my porn watching because when I close out opera all cookies, files, and history get erased because I put it like that.

I like firefox for browsing beccause it's nice and I have a lot of mods installed. GG
