Wow, the oil cooled this is so cool! I wonder if you can like fry french fries in there if it gets hot enough lol. But seriously, the computer won't die even doused in oil?

I don't think so. The oil will boil before it gets hot enough for french fries. Haz.
Anyway, I think the water idea might work. He can pump the water into a flat rectangular glass container and attach the container to the back of the motherboard. The glass will conduct the heat to the water which brings it away. The water does not come into contact with the circuitry and the motherboard remains safe. However, he will need to replace the bucket with something else of a large surface area so that the water is sufficiently cooled before it goes back to the MB. |
