To me, downloading videos from youtube is kinda defeating the purpose. I use youtube and other similar sites to store videos publicly/privately on the web. That way I can clear up some HD space locally. I do the same with MP3's. I recently deleted all of my MP3's from my hard drive. I made a web application in PHP and MySQL that lists all the MP3's and their URL's as well as some other information about them like genre/album/etc. Anyway, downloading videos from youtube and other websites only seems reasonable to me if you are using it to put in another video. Sometimes I find videos on there that I watch and just think that I absolutely HAVE to use them in another video to make fun of them somehow. lol.

Hi there. This is a beat way to download videos from web. many websites only have videos to play online, u can't download then on your pc.
But by using this url u can download not only u tube videos also other wmv and avi format videos. I have tried this mathod by my self. this is a fast and convenient way to download video. There are lots of softwares over net to download u tube videos but the one i used is U tube downloader v1.5. Search in fron google and do post your comments here. |

There is also an extension for firefox which allows you to download videos from youtube and many other sites,also there is this program called itube which allows you to download videos from youtube

Bahh!!! I hate youtube! Another one of its downsides is you really can't download videos. I don't know if there are any programs out there that let you download videos but officially youtube doesn't let you (the losers). On top of that they took of the anime >.<!!! But if you want a BETTER video hosting/watching site then check out veoh.com they let you download and watch videos. They totally own stupid youtube!!! Plus they still got all of their anime.
