im almost positive that you can't get a .edu email address. you would have to be a teacher or a student. also if you have hosting at this site and you have a domain, you can get an email address. its like yourname@yourdomain.whatever (.com, .net, etc.).

I think that Google Mail i.e. gmail is the best. They give you more than 2GB of storage and much more. There are no ads. They have really fast server. They also have a good organizer for the emails and also a good Spam Protection. We are all aware that they dont offer sign ups on the site, but you can sign up if someone send you an invitation. I dont know when they are going to enable the Sign Ups

Try fastmail.fm It offers nice free e-mail service. They have over 50 different site names to choose from and all the ads are text ads.

I use one called Goowy it is a great email account provider. A good thing is, it is free and it's not only an email provider, you can talk on AIM, MSN, Yahoo, and ICQ with it too. It also has a file storage sytem that comes in very handy. So I think you check it out.
www.goowy.com
Hope it helps, Jaybird92185 |

There's an easy solution: get a hotmail account and access it using the MSN explorer. There's your ad free email. Using Mozilla Thunderbird I think you can access your gmail account with IMAP ore POP3 like with the hotmail account and you get ad free email with more space that way.
