QUOTE(snlildude87 @ Mar 10 2005, 02:29 AM) I use BitTornado because it's very reliable for me, although at times, the GUI seems to freeze, and I get very mad when that happens because I leave the computer on for a long time, so when I get back, I expect a finished download. I've also tried BitComet. I don't know if this is me, but the torrent seems to take SO much longer to finish downloading than it does on BitTornado. If you've experienced this, post below. Shareaza is another client that I've tried, but it doesn't seem to handel torrents very well. BitTornado ROCKS!!! it lets u choose the upload speed so that u can download what u want first and then seed!!!Unlike other Clients where its automatic. Also this client picks up more peers/seeds as it has this magnet that is soo strong that it works and works |

When I started using BitTorrent I started out with the standard client. I'm not sure which version it was back then, but I remember that I didn't like the standard client very much. So I tried several different client with various amounts of success.
I stumbled across BT++, which worked nicely for a while, but then suddenly it stopped working, loading the torrent but not downloading anything. So then my search for a new client began again, the first one I tried was ABC, which worked nicely and I've stuck to it ever since. |

I think that azerus is a great java based bittorrent client because it has a great gui, and everything is monitored, even the diffrent programs the peers that your downloading from are tracked so i can see which is the most popular. And disregarding this poll i see more edonkey clients than any other. Which is surprising because i didn't think that eDonkey use bitorrent. But i think that exeem is also an excellent client

I would reccomend Azuerous but for a good computer. Other ones dont require so much ram and stuff but i like azuerous. Exeem also has bittorent supported but i have never tried it. What do you guys think is the best one? I haven't tried all of them yet but maybe one of you guys have? Well if you guys know id like to know. It would be a conviencence to know. Thanks in Advance if someone can tell me.

Hmmm, no option to vote for azureus? After trying many other clients this one is my favorite by far. It loads fast, has lots of plugins, and is very configurable. Another client i have installed is bitornade since its very small and simple to use, but when I have many torrents at the same time, I always use azureus.

Woo hoo! So far, no one has gotten confused by the double BitComet's!
Casanova, I'm the exactly opposite as you - I like simple programs that get the jobs done, and you like complicated programs that get the job done. |
