Interesting I found another small program that is pretty good it is called the Youtube Clip Extractor, in which you can save to different file formats, and it even has the option of just downloading the audio which I find interesting, because in a way youtube just provided me free music to burn

I use the "Fast Video Download" firefox plugin to download videos from YouTube and other online video sharing websites. This works nice and so far I'vent faced any problems

There's a couple of songs that I've been trying to find that seem to only be on YouTube, and you've all inspired me with this thread to go and get something to download them with. I've been meaning to for a long time, and just never got around to it, but with some easy links at my fingertips, perhaps now is the time to stop procrastinating. Now all that's left is for me to figure out which one I want to use lol
Right now I'm leaning towards the one that Saint Michael mentioned, cause it allows for audio only as well, which I can see as a great feature. But I'll give the other ones a quick look-see first before deciding to see which one seems best for my needs Thanks for all the great information everyone! |

You can also go to http://vixy.net. The website lets you download the videos in the format you want (.mov, avi, 3gp, mp4). You just have to provide the link containing the video you want to download then the tool in the website does the conversion. Once its done, you just have to download the converted file.
