I'm surprised you feel this way. I am using the Firefox 3 beta for mac and I think its great. There are heaps of new things, mainly small ones, that really stand out and make a difference when I'm browsing the web. Maybe you should have another look around and be a little more open-minded when looking at the new features and i'm sure you'll find things that you enjoy.

I'm using Firefox 3.0b4. They re-added the stop button, is all I've noticed from beta 3. I also hope that they will finally add MNG and full SVG support. I want to try using MNG, and have already used SVG once.

Well, I just to love firefox. I just hope its not as bad as firefox 2.0 which is horrible after a couple of minutes of utilization because it eats up all your memory :S and slows down the computer tremendously. If they fixed this issue in the new version then I will be a happy firefox user once again.

About the firefox interface, well thats not really a problem because there is a lot of skins for it. Some are really good.

I have only seen a little bit of firefox 3 in hardy, and it blends in with the human theme very well. So far so good, but if you for example don't like the humantheme, how easy is it to customize firefox to look different? E.g not orange. As I understand it, a simple themechange wont take care of it?

On their webpage:

QUOTE
Automatic Crash Recovery (ACR) is a feature of Internet Explorer 8 that can help to prevent the loss of work and productivity in the unlikely event of the browser crashing or hanging.

I believe Firefox has this already (although without a name). And the word "unlikely" doesn't seem to fit. Maybe they should change it to "every 30 minutes while the browser has a hangover".

You well get used to the new way Firefox is. Plus the extensions are great. You dont want to change browsers for a little "home button or a search bar" do you??

I assume they'll get better with every release, FF3 is still in it's early stages, if I remember FF2 didn't have much new features until they got near the full releases either... I've personally never tried FF3, I guess I will at some point, but Im too lazy to do it tonight.

i'm looking forward to have firefox 3 out of beta state.. it may have little improvements but it does it's job well - to browse the internet.. plus major internal issues had been fixed eliminating memory leaks and other glitches
