if you want to check LIVE qupis.com hosted sites, here are some which are spidered by google. better to view them LIVE so you can see how the ads look with the varying degrees of web design implemented by the qupis account holders. Interesting - I checked out the link to see some live Qupis-hosted sites, and the third link on the list for Doxycycline Teeth has some massive violations of the TOS. They have removed the Qupis banner. The site appears to exist only to provide links to other sites (including 2 Viagra sites, one gambling site, and one porn site). So now that I have ratted out an offender, is there any chance of getting my request for a site approved. It's been two days and I'm getting antsy. I was planning on using the free hosting as a test before ponying up for paid hosting. But with no site, there can be no evaluation |

A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing. ![]() Group: [MODERATOR] Posts: 4,081 Joined: 24-July 05 From: Linix, DOS and Windows…the good, the bad and the ugly Member No.: 9,787 ![]() |
I was planning on using the free hosting as a test before ponying up for paid hosting. But with no site, there can be no evaluation Basing your decision on the service at Qupis is not correct. Computinghost are in the same Server cluster, but on different servers configured to optimize the features required on paid hosting. Qupis and the other free Hosting servers are configured differently, so although the service level will be good on those servers, it gets better with paid service. Honest. And Qupis uses a different Hosting manager, not cpanel. Xpanel, I think. |

Ok this is very, very strange. I took a look at that doxy site you were talking about, and when you first get linked from google, there are no ads, but then refresh. The content changes to some forums and the ads are there. What the heck is going on?

I run a website under qupis and I've just noticed that the ads at the bottom of the page are gone. They must have missed something when they tweaked something because a few days ago I also encountered open_basedir errors. By the way, I'm not complaining that the ads are not there.
