I think once I get some money I'm just gonna go for the paid hosting at computing host. That seems like quite a good deal. $33 a year for ALL those features they give you! 33GB a month b/w. Unlimited everything pretty much except storage and bandwidth. |

Okay, I'm hosted here at trap17 now. My first look at the cpanel, I'm pretty impressed. I used to be hosted on a nice fancy CPanel server before. Since then I've been missing all the wonderful features. I'm glad to be here on trap17 with CPanel hosting for FREEEEEE. Trap17 kicks butt

Nothing beats the Good OL Trap17. Atleast not that I know of, it even beats some paid hosting packages I have seen, plus its a great community, but its nice to have competition though. I think their 1 year domains are about a dollar or 2 to expensive.

It used to be OK, but the other day I registered for an account and they asked for my phone number so I put in a fake 555ish and I got a message saying "we'll phone you to confirm your details" and I was like WTF is this? Damn them!

But it's okay, if you really need a free host there are plenty other easy to sign up for hosts like bytehost and all their sister companies. Or you can get a GOOD host like trap17

I did the same thing, I live in spain and I don't thing they're gonna call me in Spain for a free account!, besides that field in the register form is only for those who join freehostia with a pay account. Anyway.... I've been using freehostia for a while (just a personal DB site a sort of database of all my music) and I'm happy with it. The page loads fast and the database is going well; they have no ads at all and I think for a small site it works well. Higly recommended If you don't need a big site with a big DB. |

Thanks for the review.
Myself Freehostia has never been a good option, and the MAIN REASON: Is the file size limits! I can't install script files if they're bigger than half a MEGABYTE, something which is OUT OF THE CONTRARY to me But good enough for those HTML files and "lower" quality images
