Wow that is incredibly creepy. I have never heard of this story but I have heard of the paintings.
I'll definitely be passing this one on to a few friends I know that love a good tale that makes your skin crawl. What's really interesting is that if this story was just made up, how much creativity the editor shows. It really makes me wonder if this really did happen. |

That last picture was enough to scare me, yet alone the story. I really don't believe in ghost stories like this but it would still probably freak me out if one of those paintings were in side my house

Okay, I'm not sleeping tonight. Haha, just kidding, that is a bit odd though. Do you guys think there is any sort of fire proof solution the people could have sprayed so the paintings didn't burn? Also, why would any one own a picture like that, they are just,... well, very depressing.

I think they want them to burn the majority of the paintings so that there are only a few left. Then the few that are left will be worth thousands to collectors. Saying there's a curse is the only way they could get a large sum of people to destroy their paintings. Personally I don't find anything wrong with the paintings except the last one which looks a bit creepy.

My Nanna Has a copy of the Painting, She wont bring it back in the house since the story's. It's been in the shed. She also has the Chinese lady painting that was mass produced in the 80's she always scared me when i was little.

I rarely believe in any man made theories about anything. Ghosts, monsters, elves, unicorns, telepathy, etc. No on ehas yet to have any proof positive evidence to show us this stuff is real. Wanna know why? Cuz it aint. None of it's real. If it were real, it would be too tempting for one person to handle, and the balance of power in the world would sway one way.
