So let's see - what's been said here, basically, is that there was no improvement in sight because I lacked understanding.

That if only I had 'the understanding' I would be able to see the rings of saturn with the naked eye??? You forget, I read the book, and it's partly BECAUSE of outlandish claims like that that I think it's fake.

As for your statement on lacking understanding - it's fascinating. This to a person who was understanding books on astronomy at the age of six; who maxes most I.Q. tests, and has mastered the intense meditations and complex physical techniques of seven martial arts.

I'm willing to look at the Bates method again, but if at a younger age I recognized it to be fake... what I think is that the Bates method WAS A WAY TO MAKE MONEY - for Bates and his original publisher. It's that simple.

Still, since you put all that effort into that post, I'm willing to take another look - definitely. However, if I still find it fake, I'll be spreading the word with all my might, alright - that's it's fake!!

No offense, but the IQ tests aren't really a good way to measure understanding. It's just a big test about what you already know, and being able to figure out patterns and analogies. I'm not saying you don't have understanding, because your other statements really need understanding to accomplish them. But from the IQ tests I've taken, it doesn't seem like they're trying to measure your understanding.

But for me, glasses will work just fine.(I'm lazy) All I have to do is put them on in the morning, wipe them off when I can't see, and take them off at night. I don't think that's too much. smile.gif

I dont know if this works or not, you didnt even mention it worked for you and neither has any other user in this forum. I didnt have the time to try this out but now that I have read that you can see the rings around saturn with this method I am thinking it is fake, way to exaggerated. Sure it sounds awesome for us people that have eyesight problems, but I think I will rather stick to contact lenses, I dont know if they are worse than the surgery because I was told by the optometrist that people who get the surgery end up with dry eyes and they have to visit the eye surgeon about every 4 years to get your vision readjusted because you keep on loosing eyesight, and you wont see as sharp with the surgery as you can see with the glasses or contact lenses.... I think I will just wait for technology to keep on advancing and see if there is something better in the future. Contacts are fine for now, although a bit expensive.

So my eye problem is in my imagination? That is funny the doctor has always been telling me its because my eye isn't the right shape! Damn that doctor! I'm suing because he is the one that caused my eyesight to be blurry! dry.gif

Seriously who could ever believe that? Besides there is no way we could ever see the rings of Saturn! Of course I believe there is at least some truth to these things because relieving strain on your eyes will eventually have a positive effect on your eyesight. It's known that having bad eyes and going on without correct will put strain on your eyes that will make them worse. So, consequently putting less strain on your eyes will at best make them better but will most likely only allow them not to become worse. So it would be a good thing to practice but I would never expect a result like being able to see the rings with only my eyes.

But speaking of that isn't there an astronomical event that will allow everyone to see those rings of Saturn?

Earlier this month I heard a report on television, maybe CNN, that said that video games can actually improve your eyesight. But of course too much of a good thing is, consequently, a bad thing!

I have read some Norbekov books, and the exercises are somehow effective, I think. Well, I have made some of his exercises and I think that eye fatigue falls smile.gif In his book it is explained, that if you have the required concentration and patience, you could loose the glasses. Well I don't have glasses and I have read this book, couse my friend gave it as a present to me...

I'm really excited to read some opinions about these exercises, so please, share the effect of them smile.gif
