5 different types of love
4 Different Types Of Love I think we are all forgetting another type of love. Obsessive love. You cannot deny that this is truly a type of love however not the good kind. I do not believe that being obsessed with someone or something is not a type of love albeit not a type that people want. People who are obsessed have the same types of feelings that these other forms of love bring but with one small difference. When someone is obsessed, they are consumed by these feelings to the point that nothing else matters. It also doesn't require the other person to share the same feelings to exist. -reply by Bryan |

4 Differant types of love
4 Different Types Of Love Replying to Chatz Hey I think that these differant types of love are great. The reason for this is because everyone has differant types of relationships for example we have friends, family and boy/girl friends If we have differant types of relationships we should have differant types of love after all LOVE is a feeling and we feel differantly in each relationship. We love our family, we love our friends, and we love our boy/girl friends and it would be weird if we loved them all in the same way Right? |

a differant view point on the 4 Types of love
4 Different Types Of Love I think that these 4 types of loves are great and I think that the reason why we have differetiated beween them is because we reconise there are differant levels of love and the deeper the level of love the more meaningfull, sincere, deep and long lasting it will be. -reply by Bec |

4 Different Types Of Love Replying to JeuneReplying to Jeune Hey Jeune, In the lanugage the Bible was written there are Four whole differant words that are translated to our one word for love, so in the bible when these words are written they are just translated to our one word for love and by this happening some meaning gets lost, the same thing happens with the words frinds and brothers In the lanugage the Bible was written in they only have one word to describe our two words and there are many more examples, so you see it can get confusing when we are trying to figure out which type of love is being referd to and vice versa for when we are trying to figure out if the words brother or frind is being used. The part in the Bible when it is mentioning a differant type of love Jesus is actually refering to the word we have called Charity, Jesus was talking about how Charity is a Type of LOVE!! |

actually..3 types according to the Bible
4 Different Types Of Love I remember hearing a sermon about the different types of love found in the Bible: agape- caring love that only God has, this is the unconditional love; phileo- love you have for God or others; and eros- which the English word comes from erotic pertaining to sex. Best friends?
4 Different Types Of Love I have this best friend. We are so comfortable together and can lift each other out of any depressing situation. He inspire me so much. There is some kind of mystery in our friendship though. After 11 years of being just friends I totally fell inlove with him. He also use to have a crush on me. Unfortunately he'll be tying the knot soon with someone else. Do you have any advice on this issue -question by Luchay |

However if you feel as if you have true feelings for him, then I say tell him how you feel. I believe if you weren't at all physically attracted to him at first then it might as well be love.
