I was about to warn you, dont start topics about Runescape because they just get flamed... I play it myself and enjoy it. Whats your username?

Lol, I play RuneScape for about 2 years ... I have to say that it sometimes gets boring, but the best thing in RS are your friends, the comunity of players and the things RS makes poeple do (Talking about scripting, mostly mIRC, PHP, etc...). as I gained lots of friends and lots of knowledge since I started playing it... So yeah... I love it!

RuneScape rocks. im level 111. and to the user who posted on the first page, Farming is the worst part of the game. and to the other user who posted on the first page, RS1 was so much better than rs2. RS classic is pretty much dead now once they made it members only and cracked down on all the autoers.

still, a kickass game. though for all you people who say it sucks, you, like most people on gamespot.com, have barely ever played it. Also, free runescape IS pathetic, you need to get members to have fun.

Runescape was a good game, especially during RuneScape Classic. Alas, it went down hill when it was full of young children, and people who think they're greater than you.

I prefer Guild Wars, it might not be free. But it's not a monthly payment like WoW, etc, etc. Also, you only meet other players (Unless you invite them to) in towns, so no annoying people

Runescape is fun and its free which makes it a benifit u dont have to download it u can play right away after u sign up

Au contraire, it does download some stuff into your computer like maps, although it's still comparatively smaller than other mainstream, graphics-intensive games.

Try deleting everything in your browser's cache. You'll find that your play will almost always be interrupted when a new map loads everytime you step into another area

I have a nagging suspicion that it does download a virus or Trojan of some sort. Not confirmed, though.

runescape is the best... until u decide to be a member then u see its pointless waste of crap.

Ok. Firstly, runesape is a very good game. If you havent played it before then it might seem like it gets a bit repetitive. However as soon as you become a member, there is so much more to do.

1. More Quests,
to. More Skills,
3. More Worlds - not so important,

Other good rpg's are:

1. Dungeon Siege
to. World Of Warcraft
3. Guild Wars
4. Fable

You need to try out a few different ones, multiplayer and nonmultiplayer before you can judge them. If you really want to try out a good mmorpg (massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) then you should definatly start with runesacpe (www.runescape.com). Great game. Must Try

the game isnt good no more since andrew sold runescape to jagex fully now and jagex made it bad with there no updates if you read my post youll see
