My Cable rocks, it can go at about 1000kb/s max using a download accelrator, but it has a cap of 12gb so thats about the only down. ADSL is better when your going to download a lot over a period of time. Also you need special cables to install cable where as with adsl you only need another phoneline or use a special tool which can split the signal.

I'm in australia so our cable has to go through the sea, so its obviously going to be slower than normal

I say cable. I defintiely agree that it isn't as reliable as DSL... but I like things to move fast.

If you're a speed demon like me, then go for the cable. tongue.gif

I prefer cable, but in my country (Argentine) cable and adsl the two are very cost to pay!!!

By us cable cost's twice as much as DSL and it's the same speed about. Of course i picked DSL lol
