I'm not superstitious.
I suppose it coz I believe that if you "believe" something bad is going to befall you, and you believe that strongly enough, then the chances are that it will. This is a real trait of someone who is a pessimist, and as an eternal optomist..... this is not me !! |

QUOTE I suppose it coz I believe that if you \"believe\" something bad is going to befall you, and you believe that strongly enough, then the chances are that it will. I have heard that if you give a sick person a fake pill they will feel better. |

Its all down to belief, if the person who is taking the pill thinks it is really going to work then quite often, they will start to feel better. Its basically called "Psycho-sematic" (sp?) |

i am not superstitious, per se, but i do follow a lot of them since they are based on real facts. for example, i dont walk under ladders, not because of luck, but because im a bit clumsy; when im in an acting performance, i dont whistle backstage, since that cues different props (and can get something dropped on you)

QUOTE Sad that only me the muslim.. No, I think there are more. But there are also more people from other religiens but I think religion is personal and I think it's strange to post your religion in a topic. |
