I have another question regarding google-adsense. I didn't know if I should put it here, or start a new thread. I have noticed a very strange phenomenon with google adsense. The amount I am paid per click, vaires by a very large degree. Sometimes five to seven times. Does anybody know why there is such a huge span in the pay per click?

Thanks.

sun, this is not a support forum.

BTW, Check arrived today in Florida. Regular check, not express/secure. This is the latest in the month I've ever received a check in the more than a year I've been with adsense. Perhaps Google had some small problems getting all the secure/EFT/regulars set up right?

Same check format as last month - big plain white envelope. The nondescript format is growing on me - I prefer the mailing to not yell CHECK!
Anyway, i've got the money n thats all i wanted

i got my EFT payment on April 27 (or 28th). No problems. I think EFT is way better because there is no waiting for the check to arrive. I usually end up getting my check around the 2nd or 3rd day of the following month but with EFT I got it before the end of this month.

I was thinking about using google ads as well but i have heard some good news and some bad news about it. I followed and read up about opaques situation with the google ads and i can see what could happen. I think google would have some good reputation since they have been around for so long and so many people are using the google adsense today. I think i will have to look around for some other ad sites that pay good. So far google has been the best paying ad page that i have seen so far so i dont know what else could come close to the their cpc. If anyone knows of some sites that have a good ppc and they have a reasonable repuation please let me know so i can look around. From what it looks like so far i will try out the google adsense for awhile until i find something that will work just as good or close to something like google.

ok, so I haven't read the whole thread, just the first 2 pages, but:
if you have traffic enough, you will get some money (not just few cents/day or /week biggrin.gif )...the CTR (click through rate) (that is, how many of your visitors <- snipped -> ) is (estimatevly, of course) 1.5-2%...

for who asked about payment in non-US: yes, you can signup if you`re not from US and get payed -> check the list in their faq

the payment / click is influenced, mostly, by the keyword value for that ad...
here`s a list of some high paying keywords: http://www.cwire.org/highest-paying-search-terms/ (maybe old and/or incorrect, don't know..you can search for your own on google for something like : "adsense keywords" and you`ll get some good results smile.gif

oh yeah: about those closed accounts -> if you`re sure you didn't clicked (intentionally or accidentally) on your own ads, you might have been click-bombed .. that is, someone clicked a lot, from the same IP on your ads..if you experience unusually high CTR (see above in this post if you don't know what it means), email google adsense team about this problem and ban that IP so you won't be threatened again ..you might not have your account closed if you tell them about this smile.gif

Google certainly does not cheat. I got my first (yay) cheque a couple of months ago, and it worked too... (yes I know I suck at Google adsense, but at least it's an extra few bucks to save...)
