It didn't work for me.. Basically I only get a blur image in return. Didn't look anything much like a cartoon..

That worked pretty well! If done right, you should have gotten a fairly cartoon-ish picture. Here's a before and after of a rapper friend of mine.

thats not even close in cartoonish but it does look nice with the no body attach to the head and hands though.

It's semi-cartoonish at best. It's just a quick way. I know there's a few better ways but I can't remember them offhand. Good-tutorials.com has several though.

It was really simple, and what it did most was soften the features due to the blur. I tried it on a picture of my dad and myself, and I looked sick to be frank...

As any effect, doesnīt work well in every picture that you use... and I wouldnīt say that the result is cartoon-alike but itīs a good tip. Thanks for sharing it.
Somebody should pick all these great PS tricks that people gently share in the forum and join them in a great effects tut. |
